Digital Diagnostics is honored to have contributed to the impactful conversations at the American Diabetes Association’s 85th Scientific Sessions!
The American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) 85th Scientific Sessions brought together healthcare professionals from all levels to discuss the latest in diabetes research, prevention, and care.
The Digital Diagnostics team participated in this year’s event in several ways, including exhibiting at booth #3114, where company representatives were on hand to demonstrate how LumineticsCore®, our AI diagnostic solution to detect diabetic retinopathy (DR), can help improve care gap closure rates for the eye exam for diabetes at the point-of-care.
During the event, the 11,000+ attendees had access to over 130 speaker presentations and 1,400 posters – one of which was presented by Digital Diagnostics customer Zufall Health. The poster titled, Health Care Professional (HCP) and Patient Perspectives on the Impact of an Autonomous AI in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), highlighted how Zufall Health integrated LumineticsCore to improve access to eye exams for diabetes (EED). It revealed that over one-third of patients surveyed reported never receiving an EED prior to being tested by LumineticsCore and that both patients and providers strongly supported the AI-driven approach. Notably, following LumineticsCore implementation, Zufall Health doubled their EED adherence rate from 16% to 32%.
As a healthcare technology company committed to transforming diabetes-related eye care through AI, we are honored to participate in the ADA’s Scientific Sessions and collaborate with innovative organization, Zufall Health.
